Sturgeon Bay (July
22, 2013) – Baylake Bank’s Premier Club together with the
Sturgeon Bay YMCA will be sponsoring a presentation by United
States Coast Guard Marine Safety Detachment Supervisor
Lieutenant Commander John Kaser, Sturgeon Bay representative and
Marine Inspector Mr. Jim Condra, and Marine Science Technician
Brian O’Neil on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m.
at the Sturgeon Bay YMCA.
Mr. Kaser and Mr. Condra will speak about the unit’s involvement
with the Baylake Bank Tall Ship Festival ® in Green Bay August
16 -18, 2013 and the brief visit of the TALL SHIPS® in Sturgeon
Bay on August 14th. Mr. Condra has been involved with nautical
events including the TALL SHIPS® since 1991 and will share
insight into his experiences.
In addition, Mr. Kaser, Mr. Condra and Mr. O’Neil will talk
about the U.S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Detachment’s role in
response and prevention as it relates to safety inspections and
waterway pollution prevention.
The seminar will conclude with a brief update from Baylake Bank
SVP Marketing Sue Anschutz about the community events planned as
part of the tall ship dockside visit to Sturgeon Bay on August
