Little did Benjamin Kramer know as he
was raising his prize steer as part of the Oasis Prairie
Ramblers 4-H market steer project that his hard work would one
day also be benefiting families in Poy Sippi and Berlin,
Wisconsin. As a result of his participation in the 2012
Waushara County Fair Junior Market Animal Sale in August,
Baylake Bank bid on the steer and donated the meat to the
communities’ food pantries.
“It was wonderful to participate in the auction on behalf of
Baylake Bank,” said Sharon Schultz-Barnard, Financial Center
Manager. I’m proud that our involvement and this donation is not
only helping provide Benjamin with a quality learning
experience, but helping the residents in our local communities.”
Baylake Bank, Member FDIC/Equal Housing Lender, serves its
communities from financial centers in Brown, Door, Green Lake,
Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Outagamie, and Waushara counties and from
its website at www.baylake.com.
