The Baylake
Bank Tall Ship Festival Returning in 2013
August
24, 2012
Sturgeon Bay, WI-- The Baylake Bank Tall Ship Festival is
returning to Green Bay, Wisconsin and is planned for August
16-18, 2013.
"The Baylake Bank Tall Ship Festival has become symbolic of our
organization’s support and involvement with the community. We
are committed to the local economy, and sponsoring this major
festival is a wonderful way for us to help connect our goals
with the prosperity of the community and our entire area,” said
Robert Cera Chief Executive Officer for Baylake Bank.
Baylake Bank was also the title sponsor of the event in 2006 and
2010. Green Bay remains the only city in the state to have
hosted a Tall Ships event of this size and scope. The 2013
event is expected to draw an estimated 60,000 people, and create
an economic impact of several million dollars.
PMI Entertainment Group will stage the event, with at least
eight Tall Ships® docking at Leicht Memorial Park in downtown
Green Bay. Many of the ships will be available for tours and
some will offer river excursions. This festival promises to be
the best one yet, with PMI working to make it even more family
friendly and expanding it into the night with music.
Five after Five will be new for Baylake Bank Tall Ship Festival
2013. For $5 after 5 pm, people will be able to enter the
festival grounds to enjoy concerts on Friday and Saturday nights
in the company of the tall ships as a majestic back drop. The
festival will also include food and other entertainment
throughout the weekend, including a hands-on children’s area and
ship educational area.
We’re already counting down the days to next year’s awesome
event! Volunteer and festival information can be found at
