(1) How does a check card differ from
a credit card?
Check cards are a convenient non-cash, non-check way to pay for everyday
purchases with money you have in your checking account. Unlike a credit card,
you do not need to establish a line of credit, nor is there a finance charge
or service fee with your Baylake Bank check card. However, for some
purchases you may prefer to delay billing or spread out payments over time.
That is when you may elect to use a credit card.
(2) What is the cost of a check card?
A Baylake Bank check card is available without cost
and there is no activity fee. So, not only will you be saving time at check
out, you will be saving money on the cost of purchasing checks. Thatís
right...the more you use your Baylake Bank check card, the more it ďpaysĒ
(3) How do I get a check card?
Almost any U.S. citizen age 18
or over with a
personal checking account
at Baylake Bank can be issued a check card. A
business check card is also available. Contact a
Personal Banker for more information or
request a check card now.

(5) Do I need a separate ATM card
for use at ATMís?
Although you may elect
to keep your existing ATM card, with a
Baylake Bank check card there is no need to
have both. The ATM features of your check
card act exactly like your present ATM card.
Can I use my Check Card
Your check card may be
used wherever VISA is accepted, however to
ensure your card will be accepted it is
important to indicate if you will be
traveling out of the state or out of the
country. Please call Processing at
1-800-267-3610 to add a travel notice to
your card to alert our fraud monitoring
systems for uninterrupted service.
