Baylake
Bank Offering Community Electronics Recycling Day on Saturday, May 7
in Sturgeon Bay
April 28, 2011 --
Baylake Bank has partnered with CyberGreen Recycling to
offer a free community-wide electronics recycling day. Baylake’s recycling
initiative will take place in the parking lot of its Sturgeon Bay Financial
Center at 217 N. 4th Avenue, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 7,
2011, rain or shine.
CyberGreen will accept most electronics devices including PCs, cell phones,
printers, and DVD players. Items that will not be accepted include
kitchen appliances, or batteries (other than if they are included as part of a
device, i.e. cell phone with battery in it). The event is free of charge and
open to the public; however, there will be a charge for TV or computer monitors
($10 if under 30” or $30 if over 30”) in order to cover the cost to CyberGreen
for properly disposing of these phosphate and lead containing items.
