Baylake Bank Receives Awards for Community Contributions: American Bankers Association and Greater Green Bay Convention & Visitor Bureau Present Baylake with Recognition for Outstanding Community Involvement

Baylake Bank recently received two awards, one regional and one national, recognizing its role and positive influence as a community leader. The Greater Green Bay Convention & Visitor Bureau (CVB) honored the Baylake Bank Tall Ship Festival as “Event of the Year,” and the American Bankers Association presented the bank with a special certificate of recognition.

“We are committed to community involvement and service, and it is very rewarding to know that our efforts have had a positive impact,” commented Baylake Bank President/CEO Rob Cera.

The Greater Green Bay CVB award decision was based on economic impact of the event to the local area (including the number of attendees and the number of overnight visitors), collaboration of community partners to host the event, community support & sponsorship for the event, and regional & national interest generated by the event.

The American Bankers Association certificate was established as special recognition from the panel of the ABA’s annual Community Bank Awards. It stated that, “The panel was very impressed with (the event) and the great things you are doing in your community.”
