Among the Small Business Administration (SBA) top 15 lenders in northeastern
Wisconsin for the year, Baylake Bank tied for the
number two spot.
Baylake Bank Commercial Loan Officers Jamie Alberts, Dave Englebert, Leslie Gast,
Ken Glasheen, Travis LeRoy, and Lindsay Tafelski secured more than $5,500,000 in
SBA financing for local businesses between October 1, 2009, and September 30,
2010 – SBA’s fiscal year. Alberts commented, “Shelly Henry of our Credit
Services department specializes in SBA programs, and we really appreciate all of
her efforts in staying on top of the ever-changing programs within the SBA
platform. Her hard work helps enable us as lenders to obtain the maximum amount
of financing possible for our customers.”
As an active business lender since its beginnings more than 100 years ago,
Baylake Bank has been an SBA participating lender for more than 30 years.
According to
SBA Administrator Karen Mills, “SBA loan programs will continue to play an
important role, as they have for decades, in helping entrepreneurs and
small-business owners start or grow their businesses and create jobs.”*
