HOME BUYER EDUCATION WORKSHOP
Saturday June 6, 2009
Lakeshore Community Action Program, Inc. in cooperation
with Baylake Bank serving Door, Calumet, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, and Sheboygan
counties are again offering Home Buyer Education. The workshop
offers practical tools, consumer information and includes handouts for each
participant about the home buying process.
A certified housing counselor facilitates the workshop.
Registration
is limited so sign up early to reserve a place.

Participants
who 1) meet the income guidelines, 2) complete the workshop, 3)
show a willingness to partner with Lakeshore CAP in the home buying process
4) do not presently own a home and 5) are able to obtain permanent
mortgage financing: May qualify for money to help with down
payment, closing costs, and rehabilitation in the form of low or no interest
loans.
