Baylake Bank Scholarships Benefit Area Students
July 31, 2008
Several students from area high schools began their pursuit of higher
education with a $12,600 head start. Baylake Bank awarded students with
scholarships based on the decisions of a selection committee comprised of school
officials and bank representatives.
A college scholarship of $600 per year for four years was presented to: Anne
McDonald of Washington Island; Sadie Weber of Sevastopol; Kaitlyn Stasiak of
Sturgeon Bay; and Weston Maier of Sturgeon Bay. Technical school scholarships of
$250 per year up to four years were awarded to: Jared Kiehnau of Gibraltar;
Cindy Leist of Sevastopol; and Nicole Routhieaux of Southern Door.
“Baylake Bank has a tradition of helping area youth with their aspirations of
continuing education. We’re proud of our involvement and this investment in the
future of our communities,” said Julie Blaha, Baylake Bank Director of Retail.
