Baylake Bank Sister Bay Staff Welcomes New Manager

The Baylake Bank Sister Bay Financial Center will be featuring an open house with cookies and refreshments on Wednesday, July 2, from 10 am to 2 pm. “We’re inviting our customers and the community to stop in and say hello to our new financial center manager, Steve Gomoll,” commented Mary Jo Anderson, who stepped down from the manager position last year but remains active at Baylake as a customer service representative. “We want to make sure everyone has had a chance to meet Steve, and what better occasion to do it than during a celebratory time like 4th of July week!”

Gomoll brings to the bank over 30 years of financial experience, including five years at the Kohler Company as Accounting Manager, and 27 years with Schneider National, Inc. as Controller and Vice President of Sales. He earned a BBA in Finance and Economics, as well as an MBA, from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He is on the finance committee and the board of directors for the Door County Visitors Bureau, and is a member of the Sister Bay Advancement Association and the Ephraim Business Council.

In addition, he has been a professional musician and vocalist since his teen years, and is currently involved in St. Matthews Church music program. His wife, Mary, is a teacher; their daughter Sarah and her husband are teachers in Ecuador, South America; and their son Matthew and his wife are Lieutenants in the United States Army in Colorado.

He comments, “My unique background of both financial and sales management experience enables me to understand customers’ needs and provide effective financial solutions for them.
