Gilson Leads Baylake Bank Lakeshore Region as Market President
March
6, 2008
Mike Gilson is a familiar face at Baylake Bank, but has taken on a
slightly new role over the past year. After serving the bank in various
capacities for over 35 years, including loan officer and vice president of the
bank’s commercial division, Gilson now heads up Baylake’s Lakeshore Region as
President in the area.
With 28 financial centers across northeastern and central Wisconsin, Baylake
Bank is organized for management purposes into three geographic regions,
including Lakeshore (Door, Kewaunee, & Manitowoc counties), Bay (Brown &
Outagamie counties), and Central (Waupaca, Waushara, and Green Lake counties).
Gilson is responsible for business development, community involvement, and
overall growth in the Lakeshore Region.
“As with our other two market presidents in their respective regions, Mike is
really calling the shots for Baylake Bank in his area. The 35-plus years of
relationships that he has cultivated and maintained in the Door County and
Kewaunee area markets, and the knowledge he has about this area and our
customers, has been important in our continual ability to serve as a community
bank. It facilitates decisions that benefit all of our stakeholder groups,”
commented Rob Cera, Baylake Bank President/CEO. “Mike is a very approachable and
positive representative of our organization, and continues to help lead us with
his effective management skills.”
Baylake Bank’s Lakeshore Region Financial Centers are located on Washington
Island, and in Ellison Bay, Sister Bay, Fish Creek, Egg Harbor, Sturgeon Bay,
Sturgeon Bay – West Side, Brussels, Algoma, Kewaunee, Kewaunee – Center Street,
Luxemburg, and Tisch Mills.
