Check (debit) Card Upgrade Underway: Use Signature Based (Credit) for Your Transactions Baylake Bank is upgrading our Check Card system, and the changeover has been faster than some of the merchants’ records. If the store or point-of-sale (POS) is not accepting your Personal Identification Number (PIN), their system may not have been updated yet. Use your Check Card by signing for the transaction during this transition period. This is temporary but could take up to 2 weeks for the merchant’s automated systems to upgrade with our new system. As the stores and other POS systems are updated, your PIN based (debit) transactions will be accepted. Until then use your card as a signature based (credit) transaction. Talk to your Personal Banker or call 1-800-267-3610 for more information.
